Balls sign to play in Lithuania

LaMelo and LiAngelo Ball have signed one-year contracts with Vytautas Prienai — a professional basketball club in the first division Lithuanian league — a person with knowledge of the deal confirmed to USA TODAY Sports. The person spoke under the condition of anonymity because the signings had not yet been announced publicly. LaMelo, 16, and LiAngelo, 19, are the younger brothers of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball and the sons of outspoken father LaVar Ball. They will both report to the team in early January.
