Two Trump nominees for federal bench aren’t moving forward
The White House will not move forward with two of President Trump’s nominees for federal judgeships amid criticism from a Republican senator.
Sen. Chuck Grassley of Iowa, the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said Jeff Mateer and Brett Talley were going nowhere.
Mateer has called transgender children evidence of “Satan’s plan.” Talley was rated “unanimously unqualified” by the American Bar Association.
