BISCUITS RECALLED OVER LISTERIA CONCERNS
Several supermarket chains including Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly and Lowes Foods have pulled frozen biscuit products from their shelves over fears of listeria contamination. The stores took action after frozen dough maker T. Marzetti Co. announced a voluntary recall as a precautionary measure. The products, which carry several labels including Food Lion, Southern Home and Shur Fine, are distributed in 12 states.
