BISCUITS RECALLED OVER LISTERIA CONCERNS

Several supermarke­t chains including Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly and Lowes Foods have pulled frozen biscuit products from their shelves over fears of listeria contaminat­ion. The stores took action after frozen dough maker T. Marzetti Co. announced a voluntary recall as a precaution­ary measure. The products, which carry several labels including Food Lion, Southern Home and Shur Fine, are distribute­d in 12 states.
