Olympian Olsen has surgery

U.S. bobsled pilot Justin Olsen had an emergency appendectomy in South Korea on Monday, two days before the team is to start unofficial training. USA Bobsled and Skeleton is hopeful that Olsen will recover in time to compete in the Pyeongchang Olympics. The bob- sled competitions begin with two-man on Feb. 18-19 and four-man on Feb. 2425. Olsen, a three-time Olympian, was one of three pilots chosen for the U.S. team.
