Prosecutor dismisses 13 cases tied to biker shooting in Waco
McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna on Thursday dismissed 13 cases stemming from a shootout in 2015 in Waco, Texas, that involved bikers and police, and he recused himself from two others, placing into doubt the criminal prosecution of more than 130 bikers awaiting trial.
Reyna, who faces corruption allegations, said he wanted to focus “on codefendants with a higher level of culpability.”
