Imagine Dragons, ‘Next To Me’
Sometime between the breakout success of their single Radioactive and their platinum 2017 album Evolve, Imagine Dragons became one of America’s foremost rock bands. The Las Vegas quartet revealed this week that Next To Me would be their next single, the first song on the tracklist of Evolve, which earned the title of 2017’s biggest rock release. Compared with the bombast of hits like Radioactive and Believer, Next To Me’s fingerpicked acoustic guitars and ramshakle drums are almost quaint, with Dan Reynolds’ sweeping vocals lifting the song to the rafters.
