U.N. says aid is ready for Syria, but trucks need longer cease-fire
The U.N. humanitarian chief said convoys with food and other aid were ready to go to 10 besieged and hard-toreach locations in Syria, including the Damascus suburbs of eastern Ghouta — but there was no cease-fire as demanded by the Security Council.
