FEDEX INVESTING $1B TO EXPAND MEMPHIS HUB

FedEx will spend $1 billion upgrading its Memphis-based world hub, a project that will run through 2025, the company said Wednesday. Work involves removing obsolete buildings — some of which date to the WWII era — for new buildings, conveyor ramps, aircraft gates and other facilities.
