Trump Organization documents subject of Mueller subpoena
Special counsel Robert Mueller has issued a formal demand for documents from the Trump Organization as part of his inquiry into Russian meddling in the 2016 election, two people with knowledge of the matter said Thursday. The subpoena is the first acknowledged demand for records from President Trump’s firm. The development was first reported Thursday by The New York Times.
Trump Organization attorney Alan S. Futerfas said the company has been “fully cooperative” with Mueller’s inquiry, though he did not specifically address the subpoena.
