Trump flat out lied to our neighbor, ally

-

So President Trump admits he made up facts (lied), in a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. They were discussing trade issues between the two countries and Trump felt it would fly to tell Trudeau that we have a trade deficit with Canada. Trudeau knew that was false and told Trump so. Trump says he just thought it might be true and went with his feelings as some kind of negotiating tactic.

I guess when you try to sell snake oil to someone who is no dummy, it doesn’t work well. Just because Trump sold his lies to 63 million voters in 2016, that doesn’t mean most people are dumb enough to buy his snake oil.

You can fool all of the people some of the time, and some people all of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time.

This is a president who tries to win by the force of willpower and bullying tactics. He couldn’t care less about facts. Corbin Fowler
