BEST BUY TO HALT SALES OF HUAWEI SMARTPHONES

Huawei, the Chinese smartphone giant which has seen its ambitions to break into the U.S. market curbed by concerns about espionage, was dealt another blow as Best Buy made plans to stop carrying its phones. U.S. lawmakers have placed Huawei and another Chinese manufacturer, ZTE, in their cross hairs over their reputed ties to the Chinese intelligence and military establishment. Both companies have denied any such complicity.
