GRAB TO PURCHASE 27% OF UBER IN SOUTHEAST ASIA

-

Ride-hailing giant Uber is selling its business in Southeast Asia to regional rival Grab, a move that will help it gain a niche in the ride-sharing and food delivery business without having to shoulder the expense on its own. Grab says that Uber will take ownership of 27.5% of the business and gain a seat on the company’s board.
