FAMILY DOLLAR SETTLES GENDER BIAS LAWSUIT

Family Dollar will settle a nearly two-decade old gender bias lawsuit for $45 million. The amount was in response to a complaint that 37,000 female store managers were not paid as much as their male peers, according to The Charlotte Observer. Family Dollar has said it did nothing wrong.
