VW SAYS IT’LL TAKE YOUR CAR IF DIESEL IS BANNED

Volkswagen is telling German drivers that if diesel is banned to ease air pollution, they can trade in their new vehicles. The company says customers who make a purchase from a VW dealer from April 1 through the end of 2018 will have three years to bring the cars back and get a model that is still allowed on the road.
