Warriors’ McCaw’s X-rays ‘all clear’
Golden State guard Patrick McCaw doesn’t appear to have suffered any serious injuries after a frightening fall Saturday night in a game against Sacramento. The Warriors say X-rays, a CT scan and an MRI were “all clear,” and McCaw was expected to be released from the hospital later Sunday. McCaw is scheduled to be re-examined by a specialist on Thursday and his injury — aside from anything related to the impact of the fall — will be listed as a lumbar spine contusion. The second-year pro was taken off the court on a stretcher after a foul by Sacramento’s Vince Carter in the third quarter of a 112-96 Warriors win.
