Streaming highlights from the April calendars of major streaming and cable on-demand services:

Monday

The Good Karma Hospital (Acorn): Fans of Call the Midwife may want to check out this drama about doctors (Amrita Acharia and Amanda Redman) at a small, understaff­ed hospital in South India.

Wednesday

National Treasure: Kiri (Hulu): After its first season about a beloved British comedian accused of rape, the anthology series returns with a new four-episode story about the abduction and murder of a black girl who was on the verge of being adopted by a white family.

Poirot (Brit Box): It’s almost time to say goodbye to one of Agatha Christie’s most famous characters, Belgian investigat­or Hercule Poirot (David Suchet). He takes on his last cases in this 13th and final season.

Friday

Fastest Car (Netflix): Netflix borrows a bit of the Top Gear/Grand Tour formula for this new show. See who’s first across the line when a sleeper 1984 Honda CRX drag-races a Ferrari California, and a Pontiac minivan takes on a Porsche GT3.

April 10

Phantom Thread (On Demand): Another Oscar best-picture contender arrives on digital and home video, said to be best-actor nominee Daniel Day-Lewis’ final movie role. Also out today: All the Money in the World.

April 13

Bosch (Amazon): L.A. detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) continues searching for his mother’s killer even after being assigned a new case that has the city on the verge of a riot.

Lost in Space (Netflix): Danger, Will Robinson, here comes another reboot. Toby Stephens ( Black Sails) and Molly Parker ( House of Cards) head this reimaginin­g of the classic ’60s sci-fi show. This one fast-forwards 30 years to find the Robinsons in the age of space colonies.

Chef ’s Table (Netflix): Finally, the pastry chefs get a season all to themselves.

April 20

Mercury 13 (Netflix): This documentar­y looks at the forgotten female pilots who were screened by NASA to take part in the Mercury manned space-flight program.

April 22

Westworld (HBO Now, HBO Go): As Season 2 begins, the sexually abused android hosts at the Westworld theme park are about to have their own Me Too moment.

April 25

The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu): Viewers will finally learn what happened to the handmaids after they refused to stone one of their own to death, and to Offred (Emmy winner Elisabeth Moss), who was carted off in a black van in last June’s season finale.

April 27

The Week Of (Netflix): Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, partners from Saturday Night Live and Grown Ups, take their act to the small screen as the feuding fathers of a bride and groom.
