ETSU coach placed on leave
East Tennessee State football coach Randy Sanders has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the results of an investigation of a potential violation of university policy, the school announced in a statement. ETSU hired Sanders, the former Tennessee quarterback and longtime Vols assistant coach, in December. He was previously the cooffensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for Florida State. Sanders took the reins of a team that went 4-7 last season. The job offered a homecoming for Sanders, who is from Morristown, located 65 miles southwest of Johnson City.
