Oklahoma teachers, lawmakers at odds as walkout continues

Teachers, educational staff, students and supporters rallied Wednesday in the third day of statewide teacher walkouts that have closed hundreds of schools and displaced hundreds of thousands of students.

The protests moved into Day 3 with renewed frustration. Teachers in some districts had been ordered back to work, but the 10 largest school districts in the state were among those that remained shut down.
