EPA deal to clean up toxic site damaged by Hurricane Harvey
The Environmental Protection Agency has reached an agreement with the owners of a toxic waste site in Texas damaged during Hurricane Harvey.
The EPA says International Paper Co. and McGinnes Industrial Maintenance Corp. will design a plan to remove contaminated materials from the San Jacinto River Waste Pits Superfund site in the Houston area.
