Make the rich work for their benefits, too
President Trump and Republicans want poor people to work for their food stamps and Medicaid; eating and going to the doctor cannot be free for them. They must dance for their supper and their insulin. Fair enough. But why not make the wealthy do the same dance for their government handouts? Let these two entities demonstrate that they’ve expanded, hired, increased wages or offered benefits to the needy before exempting them from taxes with no condi- tions. It would lift them out of their indifference to their fellow man.
Trump and Republicans should follow the same cost-saving characterbuilding measures for the rich as they preach for the poor.
