TRUMP TO NOMINATE CLARIDA AS FED VICE CHAIR

President Trump has resumed efforts to put his stamp on the Federal Reserve, according to CNBC. Nominees are Richard Clarida, a Columbia University economist and global strategic adviser at bond giant Pimco tapped for vice chair, and Michelle Bowman, Kansas bank commission­er, chosen for an open governor’s spot.
