General Motors says it is appointing Steve Carlisle as GM vice president and president of Cadillac, replacing Johan de Nysschen, “who is leaving the company effective immediately” after being hired away from Infiniti in
2014. Cadillac’s U.S. sales fell 8% in
2017. Carlisle previously was president and managing director of GM Canada.
