The Black Panther is returning to his alma mater, Howard University, to give the commencement address. The university announced Wednesday that Boseman, who graduated in 2000 with a bachelor of fine arts degree in theater, will give the keynote address May 12 for Howard’s 150th commencement ceremony. News outlets report Boseman will be presented with an honorary doctor of humane letters, the university’s highest honor.
