Sugarland and Swift cozy up for ‘Babe’

-

Big news keeps coming from Sugarland — this time thanks to Taylor Swift. The country duo on Thursday released a new song, Babe, from their forthcoming album Bigger, which includes Swift as a featured artist. Swift wrote the song with Train’s Pat Monahan, and it is the only song on Sugarland’s album the duo of Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush didn’t cowrite. Swift and Monahan wrote the song about five years ago, but it had not been recorded. “So it’s her song; I was just lucky enough to be a part of it with her,” Monahan told ABC News Radio in 2013. Bigger is out June 8.
