Most of Central American migrant caravan at border
U.S. border inspectors allowed some of the Central American asylumseekers to enter the country for processing. Caravan organizers said eight members of the group criticized by President Trump that traveled from southern Mexico to the border city of Tijuana were allowed in Monday to be interviewed by asylum officers, and six more were admitted on Tuesday.
About 140 others were still waiting in Mexico to turn themselves in at San Diego’s San Ysidro border crossing, said Alex Mensing of Pueblo Sin Fronteras, which is leading the caravan
