Trump gives religious groups more freedom on social services

President Trump signed an executive order Thursday restoring a Bushera initiative to get religious groups more involved in providing federally funded social services.

The order repeals Obama-era rules limiting groups getting federal funds from preaching to those they serve. Under the Trump order, groups will no longer have to refer beneficiaries who object to the religious teachings.
