RAPPER JAY-Z PUSHES BACK AGAINST SEC DEMANDS
Jay-Z’s attorney on Monday rebuffed demands from Securities and Exchange Commission investigators who want unlimited-testimony access to the rapper related to a failed clothing-related company in his empire. Jay-Z has already agreed to a day of testimony related to the case involving possible securities law violations by Iconix Brand Group, but any more time would be “burdensome” for the artist since he is preparing for a 45-date global concert tour of his 4:44 album, attorney Alex Spiro said.
