Every consumer and taxpayer in the U.S. is subsidizin­g insurance for other people, whether they have coverage for themselves or not. Employers provide tax-free health insurance subsidies, then they pass the cost on to the consumer. Government workers receive tax-free insurance subsidies provided by taxpayers/consumers.

Some pay more than others, but there are absolutely no freeloader­s when it comes to health insurance. The only just thing to do is come up with a universal health plan. Tom Hensley

After passing the Affordable Care Act with zero Republican votes, it is a bit late to call for bipartisan­ship to fix the Democratic Party’s policy disaster.

If Democrats want bipartisan­ship, first they need to repeal Obamacare and start with a clean slate. If they’re not willing to do that, they aren’t serious about bipartisan­ship. And it is OK if you aren’t, just don’t pretend your are.
