Russian journalist critical of Kremlin shot dead in Ukraine
A Russian journalist was shot and killed at his apartment in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev.
Arkady Babchenko’s wife found him bleeding at the apartment Tuesday and called an ambulance, but Babchenko died en route to a hospital.
Babchenko, 41, worked as a military correspondent for several Russian media outlets. He had been critical of the Kremlin. He left Russia in February 2017, saying he had received threats.
