Drake’s ‘I’m Upset’
Drake has every reason to be upset after the week he’s had. After spending Memorial Day weekend trading diss tracks with Pusha T, the feud got serious with Pusha’s The Story of
Adidon, which claims Drake is hiding a secret child, takes shots at the rapper’s parents and is accompanied by an unearthed photo of Drake in blackface. Drake attempted to switch gears by releasing I’m Upset, a new single from forthcoming album Scorpion. The track isn’t a response to Pusha T as much as it is a general airing of grievances over a barely there beat. Alas, the song doesn’t have the same sparkle as recent hit Nice for What, and after Pusha T ethered him on Adidon, Drake better have something stronger in the works for his next move.
