WAYMO SELF-DRIVING CAR INVOLVED IN ARIZ. CRASH

A self-driving vehicle operated by Waymo was involved in a crash Saturday around 10 p.m. in Mesa, Arizona. Fire officials reported that a vehicle failed to stop at a red light, resulting in the collision with the Waymo vehicle. The first car continued on and collided with three more vehicles before coming to a stop. One child was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The driver, who allegedly was impaired, was arrested.
