Hockey players burned at party

Three hockey players, including a Pittsburgh Penguins prospect, have suffered burn injuries after a fire-pit accident at a bachelor party Saturday night near Cochrane, Alberta, according to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Calgary EMS assistant public education officer Nate Pike told Globalnews.ca that one person was transporte­d to a hospital in critical, life-threatenin­g condition; one was in serious, potentiall­y life-threatenin­g condition and one was in serious, non-life-threatenin­g condition.
