Harley-Davidson says it uses U.S. parts suppliers whenever possible, but that for some components there isn’t an American supplier or one doesn’t exist at a level that can support the company’s needs. The company doesn’t disclose where most of the parts come from for its bikes, but industry sources say Harley contracts with manufactur­ers from around the world.
