Six states and NYC sue US over immigration enforcement policy

Six states and New York City sued the federal government Wednesday, saying it unlawfully forces them to engage in immigration enforcement to receive anti-crime funds.

Lawsuits were filed in Manhattan on behalf of New York state and city, Connecticut, New Jersey, Washington, Massachusetts and Virginia.
