WHAT IS ‘MILK,’ ANYWAY? FDA TO ENFORCE STANDARD

The Food and Drug Administration has indicated that it will start enforcing a federal standard that defines “milk” as coming from the “milking of one or more healthy cows.” The regulation may cause some plant-based drinks, such as soy milk, to change labels.
