NEW YORK DAILY NEWS EDITORIAL STAFF CUT BY 50%

The New York Daily News had its editorial staff cut in half after layoffs announced by publisher Tronc, leaving the tabloid with an editorial staff of about 40. Among the employees departing are editor in chief Jim Rich and managing editor Kristen Lee.
