I’ve said some things in the past that I thought were edgy and funny but really hurt people’s feelings. Even though these were people I cared about and considered friends, I said things to them that affected them. Likewise, I’ve had things said to me that have affected me, the big, tough football guy. I apologize for the things I’ve said. It’s a learning process. Life is a journey.”

Retired NFL player Richie Incognito in a video posted on social media Monday saying he has joined an anti-bullying nonprofit — Boo2Bullyi­ng — as its national ambassador. Nearly five years ago, the former offensive lineman was suspended for bullying a Dolphins teammate. Incognito most recently played for the Bills.
