Toronto police not convinced by Islamic State claim of attack

The Islamic State militant group claimed responsibility for a gunman’s rampage in Toronto that killed two people and wounded 13, but police said there was no evidence to support it. Public Safety Ministry spokeswoman Hilary Peirce said “there is no national security nexus to the shooter.”
