STARBUCKS OPENS PRINCI BAKERY IN SEATTLE

Starbucks’ first independent bakery, dubbed Princi, made its U.S, debut with a Tuesday opening in Seattle. While the opening represents the first standalone bakery and cafe for American consumers, there are three that are part of Starbucks Roasteries in Seattle and Shanghai. Starbucks officials say the Princi empire will expand to Chicago and New York in the fall.
