Politicizing the Jacksonville, Fla., shooting
A player at a video game tournament in Jacksonville, Florida, gunned down two people and wounded 11 Sunday.
The left today: Blame the National Rifle Association, Republicans and President Donald Trump for the shooting in Jacksonville, Florida. If taking away all guns will save one life, it’s worth it.
The left last week: Don’t politicize Mollie Tibbetts’ murder.
Jackson Wilson
Thank you, NRA. If you did not buy and own so many Republican politicians, this country would have some sensible laws restricting the availability of guns. These deaths, like the others, are on you and those politicians — including you, Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla.

Doesn’t matter the age of the people hurt. Doesn’t matter what they were doing. Doesn’t matter what color they are. What does matter is that our people are dying in mass shootings over and over. I refuse to accept this madness as just another day in America. I refuse to just issue condolences and then mop up the blood. I refuse to not hold our leaders accountable for changing the gun laws. America can address this problem and make our country safer. Daniel Farr
We don’t have a gun problem in America. What we have is a problem with liberals who think that banning or strictly controlling the hardware will make the problem go away.
Rather than blaming guns and the NRA, maybe the left ought to blame the monsters who carry out the shootings. Placing onerous gun restrictions on noncriminals isn’t going to keep guns away from the criminals.

This was 45 minutes from my home. A place to (go with) my children to have fun and dance. The person whose fault it is, is the one who’s responsible for deciding it was a good day to kill people.
