Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh answered senators’ questions Wednesday during his nomination hearing.

It’s obvious why President Donald Trump wants Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court. Special counsel Robert Mueller is coming, and Kavanaugh has essentiall­y said he believes that a president is above the law.

Democrats said they needed to pass the Affordable Care Act without reading it. Now they demand thousands of documents from Kavanaugh’s tenure at the George W. Bush White House; everyone in America knows they won’t read them.

I just watched the nomination hearing. Anytime a serious question was asked, Kavanaugh diverted. When pressed, Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley jumped in and cried foul. This is a circus show.
