Disasters can leave you without the basic services for several days. It’s better to be prepared by assembling a ‘go bag,’ to keep your supplies in an easy-to-carry bag/container.

Three-day water supply (1 gallon per person) Non-perishable foods (with can opener, 2 week supply) Portable radio (extra batteries) Cellphone with chargers First aid kit

Extra cash/travelers checks Duct tape

Work gloves Multi-purpose tool Sleeping bag (per person) Rain ponchos

Hand warmers Flashlight/batteries Surgical masks

Basic toiletries Infant/pet supplies Change of clothes and shoes (per person) Extra keys to house/cars Copies of personal documents (proof of address/insurance, passports, birth certificat­es, etc.) Map of area
