WHITE CASTLE SELLING VEGGIE SLIDER NATIONWIDE
A vegetarian slider at White Castle? The fast-food chain on Wednesday started offering a $1.99 plantbased burger at its 377 locations in 13 states. The rollout comes after White Castle tested The Impossible Burger, created by California-based Impossible Foods, at New York, New Jersey and Chicago locations. Impossiblefoods.com says the slider is made from all-natural ingredients such as wheat and potato protein, coconut oil for fat, a dash of soy sauce and potatoes.
