FEMA chief under investigation over personal travel, report says
Brock Long, the head of the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is under investigation by the Department of Homeland Security inspector general for possible misuse of government vehicles for personal travel, according to Politico.
Citing three unnamed sources, Politico said the watchdog is looking into whether Long “misused government resources and personnel” on his weekend commutes back home to Hickory, North Carolina. Long told reporters Thursday, “I would never intentionally run a program incorrectly.”
