Kavanaugh isn’t an option as a justice

-

After seeing three days of testimony and allegations on sexual misconduct, Brett Kavanaugh should not be honored with a seat on the Supreme Court.

In his testimony to Republican senators, the judge cited many cases in his answers to questions that sounded like they had been prearranged. Yet, when asked about his work in the George W. Bush White House, he failed to provide adequate answers to the Democratic senators.

Kavanaugh could not provide his reasoning behind his decisions regarding pushing the time limit on a young immigrant seeking an abortion after being raped, allowing foreign entities being able to place funds in PACs, environmental protections being overturned or gun control being denied, to name a few.

His decisions indicate he is not a moderate, but someone leaning towards being a zealot, like those in a banana republic and a dictatorship.

Christine Blasey Ford’s account of the situation in The Washington Post sounds like a credible story to the people who bothered to actually read it.

Tom Hensley

I don’t want Kavanaugh as a justice, but if what the opposition has is an allegation that he tried to force himself on someone at 17, that’s not enough. If he didn’t, then it shouldn’t keep him off the bench. Concentrate on his decisions. Robin Cox

The Post reported that it corroborated Ford’s story by looking at a lie detector test she took, among other methods. Just make Kavanaugh pass a lie detector test. He’s not fit to be a county judge.
