COMMUNITY COOKBOOK
Duchess Meghan celebrated the launch of a charitable cookbook – her first project – at Kensington Palace on Thursday. The Palace announced the royal foodie’s support Monday of “Together: Our Community Cookbook” which will benefit a community kitchen founded as a necessity after the deadly June 2017 Grenfell Tower fire. “I said in the foreword that this is more than a cookbook, and what I mean by that is the power of food is more than just the meal itself,” Megan said at the launch. “It is the story behind it, and when you get to know the story of the recipe, you get to know the person behind it.”
