Presidential alerts might be a good thing
Phones across America lit up Wednesday with a test “Presidential Alert.” The aim of such alerts is to warn Americans about national emergencies.
Many people don’t watch TV, but they are surgically attached to their cellphones. Therefore, in an emergency, if it saves one life it’s a good thing.

I’m OK with the process, but I’m not
OK with someone unstable wielding that power. President Donald Trump has prove he doesn’t care for protocol or decency. I don’t trust him to not abuse it, if he decides to turn it on his political opponents. And I don’t trust Republicans to stop him.

As long as Trump doesn’t get to write the alerts, I’m fine with it. We all know how his Twitter feed is, and I don’t need that on my phone.
