Taylor Swift shouldn’t talk politics

Singer Taylor Swift endorsed two Democratic congressional nominees in Tennessee on her Instagram account. According to Vote.org, her post has inspired a surge in voter registration.

I don’t really care what celebrities think when it comes to politics. If I want to hear or know about that I will tune in to CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, local news, etc.

Independent voter here! What is perplexing to me is that movie stars, musicians, athletes and other entertainers even feel the need to share their political views. Maybe I am alone here, but I could not possibly care less what their political leanings are.
