HE’S BACK
Former NFL MVP Cam Newton, let go by the Panthers, has been picked up by the Patriots, according to a report by ESPN. The former Auburn quarterback will go into the mix to replace NFL legend Tom Brady, who left New England for the Buccaneers. ESPN calls the deal one-year and incentiveladen. Newton has been without a job since the end of last season amid injury questions. With the coronavirus shutdown, teams have been unable to work out players.
