Would you like a bit of caffeine with your cereal?

Dunkin’ has unveiled a new breakfast food options that might give you an added kick in the morning.

Through a collaboration with Post, the doughnut chain has announced two new types of cereal inspired by popular caffeinated beverages: There’s the Caramel Macchiato flavor of crunchy cereal, and there’s a Mocha Latte option.

But what also sets them apart from the rest of the cereals in the aisle is that the two companies have infused actual caffeine.

“Coffee and cereal are the ultimate breakfast go-tos, ranking as the top two most consumed items to help people start their day,” said Josh Jans, brand manager of cereal partnerships at Post Consumer Brands in a statement. “Getting the flavor right on our new cereals was a top priority, and we think we’ve nailed the rich, smooth and creamy taste.”

Post Dunkin’ Caramel Macchiato cereal has caramel-swirled marshmallows to mimic the taste of the layered iced coffee beverage. Post Dunkin’ Mocha Latte cereal has a chocolatey flavor with latte-swirled marshmallows to taste like an espresso.

Both kinds of cereal contain small amounts of caffeine, equal to roughly one-tenth of a cup of coffee, the companies said. And both are set to hit grocery stores nationwide in August. There’s a store locator on Post’s website where you can find the cereal near you once it’s available.

It’s not the first time Post has crossmarketed by collaborating with other companies to create all-new cereal options. The company previously joined forces with Hostess to release cereal that tastes like Hunny Buns and Twinkies.
